Who Is SMP For?

Men and women with pattern baldness.

SMP can be an effective way to create the appearance of a full head of hair for people with these conditions.

People who have undergone chemotherapy or radiation therapy.

Chemotherapy and radiation therapy are cancer treatments that can cause hair loss on the scalp. SMP can be a great option for people who have lost their hair due to these treatments.

People with alopecia.

Alopecia is an autoimmune condition that causes hair loss on the scalp and other parts of the body. SMP can be used to create the appearance of hair follicles on the scalp, helping people with alopecia to achieve a more natural-looking appearance.

People with scars on the scalp from accidents, surgeries, or burns.

Scars on the scalp can be unsightly and can also cause hair loss. SMP can be used to camouflage these scars and create the appearance of a full head of hair.

Individuals with thinning hair.

SMP can also be a great option for people with thinning hair who want to create the appearance of greater density.

Lets look At The Process.

Free Consultation.

The first step in the SMP process is to schedule a consultation.  During the consultation, we will discuss your hair loss concerns, your desired results, and your medical history to determine whether SMP is the right option for you.

Preparation.

On the day of your SMP treatment, we will clean and shave your scalp (you may shave it yourself before coming).  Using high-grade skin disinfectant we will make sure your scalp is ready for the procedure.

Design.

Treatment.

Once you decide to move forward with SMP, the next step is to  create a customised treatment plan that meets your unique needs and preferences. This will involve choosing the right pigment colour and density, as well as deciding on the shape and placement of the dots.

Treatment.

Post-Treatment Care.

Treatment.

The SMP process involves using a special tattooing machine to deposit the pigment dots onto your scalp. This process can take several hours (and between 1-4 sessions), depending on the size of the treatment area and the desired density of the dots.

Post-Treatment Care.

Post-Treatment Care.

After your SMP treatment, your practitioner will provide you with detailed instructions on how to care for your scalp as it heals. The most critical of which is exposure to water, it's important to stay away from excess water for up to 4 days.

Follow-Up.

Post-Treatment Care.

Post-Treatment Care.

Depending on the extent of your SMP treatment, you may need to schedule one or more follow-up appointments to touch up the pigment and ensure optimal results. All follow up appointments are included in the original quote.
